When it comes to Caribbean resort amenities, swimming pools are a standard feature. But few are quite like the pool at Sandals Halcyon Beach.
The Castries, St. Lucia resort has just introduced its newest innovation - the Caribbean's longest pool.
The new Paradise Pool measures 600 feet and was created to be a treat for the senses, a pristine environment that surrounds guests with waterfalls and lush greenery and meanders through the resort's newly renovated areas including its all-new Crystal Lagoon Walkout Swim-Up rooms.
The breathtaking pool is merely one of the notable new features at this luxe hideaway resort. Sandals Halcyon Beach also recently introduced Beachfront Honeymoon Butler Suites featuring private decks and plunge pools.
A romantic, elite escape, those who prefer a more intimate experience can draw the privacy curtains around suites' patio and relax in an outdoor Tranquility Soaking Tub made for two.
Inside the new rooms, there's a spa-like atmosphere with custom-crafted furnishings, king-size beds and lavish bathrooms with luxe soaking tubs, oversized walk-in showers and a large, double vanity.
All of the recently added offerings join a tranquil, intimate resort that embraces the quintessential Caribbean. Sandals Halcyon Beach is a place where majestic palms line a pristine beach and mountains rise from a turquoise sea.
Existing features meanwhile include a five-star Global Gourmet dining at six restaurants, including Kelly's Dockside Over-the-Water Restaurant, which dramatically extends 150 feet over the water.
When not dining or playing, Sandals Halcyon Beach guests can quench their thirst with unlimited premium spirits at seven bars, including two pool bars.
For visitors searching for still more activity and options, the property offers a Stay at one, Play at three program giving guests access to a total of 27 restaurants and 21 bars thanks to exchange privileges at nearby Sandals.
When it's time to hit the greens, head to nearby Sandals Regency LaToc Golf Resort and Spa for the nine-hole, par 33 golf course.
One last notable feature. The property is entirely friendly to the physically challenged featuring low rise one- and two-story buildings.
