Carnival Magic, which was built in 2011, is the second ship in Carnival Cruise Line's fleet to reenter service with the line’s new “From Sea to Shining Sea” bow crest design.
The ship was under a 35-day dry dock period in The Bahamas, but has recently returned to Miami, its homeport to continue its season in the Caribbean.
Beyond the new bow crest design, the ship also features some upgraded public spaces, including its casino and arcade, a redesigned Lido restaurant, renovated water park and pool decks, a new mini golf course, spa, fitness center and retail areas.
Carnival Legend was the first ship in Carnival's fleet to debut with the new design ahead of Memorial Day Weekend. The bow design, inspired by “America the Beautiful,” will be added to nearly all of Carnival’s ships this year, except Carnival Jubilee and Carnival Tropicale, which will feature the Texas star on their bows.
