To celebrate Walt Disney’s birthday on December 5, travelers visiting Disney World’s EPCOT park and the newly opened World Celebration neighborhood will be the first to view the newly installed statue of Walt Disney, called “Walt the Dreamer.”
The statue represents the man behind the iconic corporation, sitting on a bench with a sense of fulfillment as he gazes at the park around him. The part of the World Celebration Gardens the statue is located in is called Dreamers Point, after the statue.
The Disney Parks’ official TikTok account released a short video showcasing the statue’s installation in the World Celebration Gardens.
The “Walt the Dreamer” statue is meant to symbolize the hope of realizing one’s biggest dreams, and inspire guests both young and old with the magic of determination and hope.
