New 'Rivers of Light: We Are One' Show Coming to Animal Kingdom in May

Those who are fans of the "Rivers of Light" show at Disney's Animal Kingdom will be happy to hear that Disney has plans to share a whole new experience called, "Rivers of Light: We Are One."

For the last two years, "Rivers of Light" has brought viewers a show full of illuminated lantern floats, special effects and a beautiful score that came together for a stunning show.

"Rivers of Light: We Are One" will be a similar, but updated production that will feature familiar and beloved animal characters from Disneynature films and Disney animation all with the intent of showing viewers just how connected we are to the animals across the world - or as Disney might say, how "We are One."

On their website, Disney wrote: "The show will also weave the original musical score and familiar Disney themes to create a powerful arrangement that inspires and carries us through moments of discovery, fun, friendship, fear, love and family."

This brand new show will debut at Animal Kingdom's Discovery River Amphitheater over Memorial Day Weekend on March 24, 2019.
