Walt Disney World Resort will light up the night this summer.
Walt Disney World News, via press release, unveils what the theme park has in store for the thousands who plan to show up to celebrate the Fourth of July.
The most obvious form of celebration, other than discovering how many hot dogs one can devour, is lighting up the pavement, sidewalk or nighttime sky with fireworks.
It's a tradition that dazzles kids of all ages, and yes, this includes the adults in the audience. So don't think for a second that you will be cheated out of your firework display at the Magic Kingdom.
The report states there will be shows on both July 3 and July 4 at 9 p.m. local time, so make sure you get a prime spot for you and your brood to enjoy the festivities.
Fireworks will also make their way to Epcot for a show at 9 p.m. on July 4. This one will have the complement of laser lights. If you dig that sort of spectacle, make sure you are around the area for this promising display.
To prove there is something for everyone, even younglings, Disney is reminding everyone about its Star Wars theme gala celebration that kicks off every night at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
If you are the kind who has an opinion on proper ways to compete against a Wookie, this show is for you.
It's called Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular and it's a huge show, filled with pyrotechnics, projections of classic scenes and fireworks.
Sure, it's not specifically Uncle Sam related but it's in keeping with how we have come to figuratively blow out this nation's candles, namely by seeing things explode in a spectacular manner.
The kids might like things a little closer to nature, and not the tauntaun sort. In that case, you may want to head over to Animal Kingdom and enjoy one of two nightly showings of the beloved Rivers of Light display.
Whether at 9:15 p.m. or 10:30 p.m., you will get to see what Walt Disney World describes as, "a timeless show that celebrates the beauty of all living things."
Now if you are headed to the resort over the holiday weekend, you are assured of being with thousands of other strangers who had the same idea.
Crowds will be as abundant as those fireworks in the sky. Thankfully, TravelPulse's Janeen Christoff previously suggested ways to beat the congestion at the theme park, such as utilizing a nifty amusement park app.

WDW News also suggests the Voice of Liberty, which will be crooning in a capella at the America Gardens Theatre on July 4. The Muppets will perform their Great Moments in History every day at Liberty Square. And there will be an opportunity for another classic July 4 shindig.
The Grand Floridian is having a cookout on the fourth from 7-8 p.m., which includes steak, shrimp, hot dogs, beans and more.
It also promises one amazing view of the nearby fireworks. This barbecue will cost you, however. It's $120 for the big kids and $59 for those between the ages of 3 and 11.
As you can see, Mickey is ridiculously busy at the moment preparing his house for one awesome July 4 party.
