Trick shot videos have become a cult phenomenon across the web, filling endless YouTube videos with impossible freethrows. Now the bar has been set by a group in California that hit a basketball shot from a moving roller coaster.
In a video from the self-described 626BALLERS on YouTube, several young adults set up a basketball net on the beach next to the Santa Monica Pier in California and one person boarded the West Roller Coaster at the park with a basketball.
Once the ride went over the top of the first lift hill and began down the corkscrew descent, the person inside the roller coaster train sees the net and throws the ball toward the awaiting hoop below the pier.
While it is unclear how many times it took the group to pull off the trick shot, the person throwing the ball deserves a medal for not just hitting the basket from a moving roller coaster, but for also hitting nothing but net.
