With great snow comes equally great skiing videos.
GoPro (h/t Digg) once again caught extreme dudes in their natural habitat, carving up some of the sickest snow this side of the Austrian Alps.
In a YouTube video aptly titled "Skiing the Austrian Alps," Christoph Hoerner and Daniel Feichtinger manage to take advantage of fresh powder while also documenting the adventure for the rest of us with balance issues.
Now you might be stuck behind a desk until your next winter excursion, but you can still enjoy someone else's romp through the snow with the following video:
Now the duo's wild ride down the side of a precarious mountain may seem like fun. Naturally, you are thinking about a future trip through pristine snow.
Thankfully, Austria's Tourism website has a wealth of information on visiting the area.
There is even a section that offers prime suggestions for skiing during December, like Stubai Glacier and Kitzsteinhorn.
Austrian Zimmers also lends some advice on taking a trip to the Alps during any season, including the summer months when the Alps lose the snow but yield an equally breathtaking vista.
Hoerner and Feichtinger's ride down the Austrian Alps may be brief, but it packs a wallop of inspiration for those looking for holidays of the more extreme variety.
