For travelers who love visiting Walt Disney World, the cost of the annual passes increased Tuesday for the second time this year.

According to Fox13News.com, Disney's Platinum Plus pass will now cost $849 (a 2.4 percent increase); the Platinum Pass is $749 (a 2.7 percent increase); the Gold Pass is $609 (a 3.4 percent increase); and the Silver Pass is $479 (a 9.1 percent increase).

While the Florida Resident Theme Park Select Pass remained the same price, the Weekday Select Pass is now $319 (a 10.4 percent increase); the Epcot After 4 Pass is $289 (a 3.5 percent increase); and the Water Parks After 2 Pass is $79 (a 5.3 percent increase).

As if that wasn't enough, Disney officials also revealed parking prices at all of its theme parks will also increase, with regular vehicles jumping from $22 to $25 and oversized vehicles jumping from $27 to $30.

"Disney is aggressively engaged in enlarging the park, a lot of things around the park to improve the experience for the guests," Rollins College professor Dr. Mark Johnston told Fox 13.

Disney also revealed the average passholder visits the park about 12 times per year and the price adjustments equate to a $4 or less increase per month. In addition to providing cost-per-day savings, the passes also include dining and merchandise discounts, complimentary parking, special events, a dedicated support service and more.

The price changes were revealed Tuesday as part of the rollout of Disney's new online vacation-planning platform, which allows travelers to purchase tickets priced by the date of visit. The changes were implemented to simplify booking and planning vacations.

Last week, it was also revealed that prices for snack favorites and drink options at both Disney World and Disneyland have climbed in recent weeks. Food at the Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot and Animal Kingdom will now cost guests more than ever before.
